Goodbye, Summer!

The Steele County Fair is over, which signals the end of summer in Owatonna.

School supplies are flying off the shelves and parents everywhere are getting ready to help their children kick off a successful new school year.

The good news is, our first MOPS meeting of the year is only 3 weeks away!

So get all your school-aged kids settled in to a new fall routine and come join us on September 15th, 9:00-11:00 am at Bethel Church.  The Steering Team has been working hard all summer and we can't wait to see all of you!

So...how are you feeling about the end of summer and start of a new school year?  Anxious? Excited?  Guilty about feeling excited? (No judgement here!) ;)  Comment below and let's get a discussion started!

  1. The start of a new school year brings the excitement of new beginnings and lofty goals of wonderful routines. However, it's also sad because the end of summer means less time together as a family, more responsibilities and fewer adventures. Fall is bittersweet!
